MacPractice Enhances Data Migration Services

Lincoln, NE, April 19, 2006: MacPractice, Inc. announces enhanced data migration services to MacPractice MD for physicians, MacPractice DDS for dentists and MacPractice DC for chiropractors.

"About 60% of our MacHealth clients followed the instructions to migrate years of patient demographic information themselves in just a few hours and are very pleased with the results. But some users with larger practices, and those that wish to further minimize set up and manual data entry have requested more. With our newest release of MacPractice, we are able to offer more options," says Mark Hollis, President of MacPractice, Inc.

MediMac, DentalMac and ChiroMac users now have several new choices of what data may be migrated by MacPractice, Inc., off site. A Basic demographic data migration to MacPractice may be performed for $500. MacPractice account numbers may be made to match the MacHealth numbers for a total migration fee of $800. MacHealth users may also choose to migrate their scheduling column resources and patient appointments or transactions (viewable not editable) for an additional $300. A full migration including both appointments and transactions is $1400.

MacPractice partners with, Ellkay Data Conversion Services to assist offices with other Mac and PC programs to move up to MacPractice software affordably. With over 15 years experience in healthcare, ELLKAY has the knowledge and resources necessary to transition data from over 250 different practice management systems.

The next 120 offices that purchase MacPractice DDS, MD or DC no later than May 2, may receive Attachments, a $500 value, FREE ($200 annual support fee is required), and the aMac Bridge or TrophyMac Bridge for digital radiography, a $500 value, FREE ($200 annual support fee is required). aMac users may additionally receive a free Basic migration to MacPractice DDS from DentalMac, a $500 value, free Perio Charting, a $500 value ($100 annual support fee is required), and free EClaims enrollment, a $200 value, for a purchase of MacPractice DDS by May 2. Also introductory pricing on all MacPractice programs is available until May 2.

MacPractice DDS, MD, and DC are designed and developed by a team of 11 software engineers, at the direction of Patrick Clyne, the original designer and developer of DentalMac, MediMac, and ChiroMac. A foreign, English-speaking version of MacPractice is in offices in Canada, and Australia and Guam.
