Attachments
With MacPractice Attachments, users may attach any electronic file or scan a document directly to a patient record. MacPractice clients save time and paper by scanning insurance cards, EOBs, registration forms, and other documents directly into patient records. Transcriptions and Lab results identified with a patient ID may be automatically attached as well.
Attachments may be marked for review to facilitate workflow. Attachments may be viewed for an individual patient or for the entire practice by status and type. Patient attachments are available in the the patient's medical record in MacPractice EMR. As a feature of MacPractice 3, Attachments may be stored and backed up separately.
